Making a list and checking it twice
From Dr. Maggie Walsh, of the Talk Radio Mysteries by Mary Kennedy
Santa's not the only one making lists in this busy holiday season. My producer, Vera Mae, loves to make lists. She said it helps her prioritize and she loves checking off her accomplishments at the end of the day. She has an "A" list (things that really have to be done, like scheduling guests and commercials on my talk show), a "B" list (things that would be nice to do, but are not urgent) and her "longshot" list. Her longshot list is a wild card, things that will probably never happen but are fun to dream about. For example, Vera Mae is convinced that George Clooney would love to be a guest on my show the next time he's in south Florida. She's actually trying to get in touch with his publicist. How about you? Do you keep lists and do you find them helpful?
