Next Installment of "Our" Adventures

by Kelly Flynn from Maggie Sefton's

Bestselling Knitting Mystery Series,

SKEIN OF THE CRIME

She's at it, again. Can you believe the Ninth book in what "she" calls the "Kelly Flynn Knitting Mysteries" will be published on June 7th? I found this cryptic note on top of my daytimer asking me if I would remember to tell all of you guys. Oh, yeah. . .she said the title was UNRAVELED. Then, she smiled one of those annoying smiles of hers and added that the title was "very apt, considering."

I haven't the slightest idea what she's talking about. But I think I overheard her mention something about "Kelly's and Steve's relationship" to someone on the phone. What nerve! Who does "she" think she is? Eavesdropping on me and my friends and scribbling down everything she sees and hears. It's an invasion of privacy, that's what it is.

Well, I have to log off. I'm meeting up with The Gang for dinner. And, I'm going to tell them about this. They are just as annoyed as I am. Ohhhhh. . .and for the record. . .Steve and I don't have a relationship anymore. Nope. We haven't seen each other in six months. So, there, nosy novelist. Miss Snoopy.

I need some coffee. Talk to you guys later.

You and all of my friends, Annette. They keep me updated on what Steve's doing. And I'm sure they do the same for him whenever he comes into town to see them. But, like I told them. . .life goes on, right?

(Comment posted by Maggie Sefton: I hear you, Annette. I think you'll enjoy UNRAVELED. Steve and Kelly get to "meet" again after six months not seeing each other. Not just once, but severeal times. . .unexpectedly. Especially one scene when they are right across the net from each other on a volleyball court. I think you'll get a kick out of that scene. :) There's hope. Stay tuned.)

  3. Yeah, I'm hoping they get back together, but then again I love happy endings. I haven't read the last two in the series, but I did look at the part in the book where they broke up. I might get Unraveled for my birthday next month.

I am probably way out of line here but as a fan and reader of all of Maggie's books in this series and enjoying every one, I'm making a point of buying this one whether I'm working or not!
I am not sure how Steve and Kelly feel about getting together again, they had some issues to iron out and didn't get the chance. If they are meant to do so, then Maggie will allow it to happen, creative genius that she is! But regardless, those two are pretty strong willed and they may dig their collective heels in and say "no way, Maggie"! We'll have to see but I'm buying the book cause I'm hooked on that "extended family at Lampspun!
