Hi Reagan. I've read both of your adventures and loved, loved, loved them. You rock! Can't wait to see what you get yourself in for the next time. Let's see -- what did I cross of my bucket list this summer? Two road races that's what. Only 3.5 miles each but the weather was in the 90s and lots of hills but I did both in record time. celebrated with Ben & Jerry.

Hi, Mary Louise! Wonderful hearing from you. So glad you enjoyed Iced Chiffon and Killer in Crinolines. KiKi and I sure get around and that Walker Boone is more of a pain...and handsome...than every.
DeleteThat you are a runner is fantastic. And you're fast. I need to do this more so I can be in shape to get the bad guys.
Have a fun weekend and enjoy the final days of summer.
Hugs, Reagan
It's rained a loy so we haven't used the grill much. I'd like to have at least one more bbq.
ReplyDeleteI liked to go on a picnic with just me and my husband. We both have been working hard, just recently we both have a bad cold. :( We are movng into a new place in less than 3 weeks. We want some alone, relaxing time together (illness free). BTW I have read Iced and Killer, loved both! my email sweetcandi32010@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHi, Candace. Yes, you and your hubby need a nice picnic with some delish food. I love cold fried chicken and potato salad. KiKi does a really mean potato salad, me not so much, I just eat. it.
DeleteThat you enjoyed Killer and IC makes my day. Thanks so much. Pearls and Poison is out in March. Mamma's running for city council and her opponent winds up dead and Mamma accused of the murder. How do these things happen? Have a wonderful summer.
I want to clear more of my backyard weed patch and go for ice cream at Bruster's at least one more time.
ReplyDeleteHere in Savannah it's Leopold's Ice cream and double-dip of Old Black Magic. Yummmm
DeleteI want to get my new patio finished so it's all ready to go in the spring. It's together enough that I just might have to have at least one bbq this summer.
ReplyDeleteAuntie KiKi and I will be over for the BBQ esp if it's ribs. KiKi will make the potato salad and I'll bring Bruce Willis to clean up the scraps that hit the ground.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have more times for nice long walks without bugs. One of my favorite things to do is walk nature trails with my camera and just enjoy the peace and quiet of it all. Now if only the buys would go away! Also before schools starts one extra week of to help my neighbor get her house back in order....And as always more time to read, never enough time to read!
ReplyDeleteHi, Tee. Summe is the perfect time to sit back with something cool and a good book but is seem like summer is so busy!
DeleteBeing a photographer is so neat. Hope you frame some of those special shots.
Hugs, Reagain
I would love to go hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains with some friends. Unfortunately, none of my old hiking friends are still around here!So I guess I'll have to settle for finding one whole day in which to do nothing but READ!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol. It's so hard when we lose our friends. I know how you feel. I love those special days when I can kick back and read. Lovely indeed.
DeleteIts been a sickie summer for me. I would just like to enjoy having the windows open. Maybe taking Amya to the Zoo, must see baby Gladys.
ReplyDeleteHi, Judy
DeleteAmya is such a darling. Yes, go to the zoo! :-)
Hugs
Dear Reagan: Well, for my summer list, I just wanted to get over a number of injuries from two bad falls that I had this winter, and I made up my mind that my husband and I were going to do as much as I could tolerate and most of the plans involved our beautiful and loving daughter, her husband and our three precious grandchildren. A few of the highlights: We all went on a glorious five-day trip to the Adirondacks in upstate New York and had gorgeous weather until the last morning, which didn't influence a half of a day at a Children's Museum in Saratoga Springs and then a wonderful lunch in the downtown area afterwards. Oh, and our time in Lake George was remarkable, especially our paddle boat cruise and watching all of the wind surfers flying past the boat!!! We also did some Yurt tenting and had a blast at the State Forest and going to a lovely lake and at night cooking outside and doing all kinds of fun foods on the open fire with our grandchildren. And two of our grandchildren had a joint birthday party this summer (the 6 and 10 year olds) and what a time we had!!!!! Our most fun in life now comes from being with our children and our grandchildren, and for that reason, we had a summer of blessings. Thanks for listening to me ramble, Reagan. I am kind of long winded so please excuse me.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Cynthia
P.S. Thank goodness I had time to finish Killer in Crinolines with all of this family fun going on!!!! Loved both books in this series, so keep getting into the thick of things, Reagan, and giving us some great reading material for the next books okay??
Sounds like you are on the mend, Ceblain. Good news. The lake is wonderful, the upper Adirondack truly God's country. Love hearing about your adventures and your grandchildren. Thanks for picking up IC and Killer, I truly appreciate it. Keep in touch.
DeleteHugs, Reagan
I love this series. I want to go horseback riding before fall hits. And maybe go to the beach.
ReplyDeleteKaye
Oh no, that reminds me I never got a funnel cake when we had our beach week this summer. What am I going to do now?
ReplyDeleteHi, Susie. I love the funnel cakes too with that sprinkle of powdered sugar. To wait till next year sound soooo long. Maybe you can catch a festival near you house and snag one there.
DeleteHugs, Reagan
Hi all.
ReplyDeleteAny of you who took time to chat here so far and want a tote, just email DuffyBrown@DuffyBrown.com. Thanks for stopping by and have a good summer...what's left of it. Keep in touch.
Hugs, Reagan
You sure will be busy doing all that Regan! I can't wait for your next book and read all about it.
ReplyDeleteMy summerlist is completely different: I want to clean out the garage and other storage spaces, but my boyfriend is such a hoarder, he doesn't want me to.
You have such a great list! =)
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to a nearby lake before the end of Summer,....just to sit and listen to the stillness and maybe there might be some sailboats while Im there!
Love your Consignment series!!
