Finally Murder, Plain and Simple is Here!

By Oliver, The French Bulldog from the Amish Quilt Shop Mysteries by Isabella Alan

I’m so excited you will finally be able to read MURDER,PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! I feel like I had been talking about this book for ages, and my mistress Angie Braddock has been waiting for this day a long time too. I’m happy because the book makes my mistress happy and anything that makes my mistress happy makes me happy. She is the best mistress a dog could have. She gives me the best food, plenty of walks and toys, and makes sure my favorite pillow is everywhere we go so I can grab a little shut eye. She also is on the lookout for birds on my behalf. Birds are scary. Those pointy little beaks are just ready to poke your eye out. I don’t like how they cock their heads either.

When we left Texas, I wasn’t sure about how that would go. I knew my mistress Angie needed to get away because her fiancĂ© Ryan dumped her like yesterday’s kibble, and then Angie inherited an Amish quilt Shop in Ohio from her favorite aunt. It was a perfect escape, but this country life… I don’t know about it. There are a lot of birds here in Ohio. Plus other creepy crawlies. I swear the other day I saw a centipede the size of my head. Also there is this whole issue of dead bodies that keep showing up. Angie and the Amish quilting circle are excellent sleuths if I do say so myself. I miss our old high rise apartment in Dallas, but if this is where Angie needs to be, it is where I will stay. She is my whole world, and as you will see in both PLAINLY MURDER and MURDER, PLAIN AND SIMPLE I’m not a bad sleuth either.

And if you want to see what all the fuss is about PLAINLY MURDER is only $2.99... just sayin'.

  1. Hi Oliver! I've lived in both Texas and Ohio. I think you'll like the country life...even with all those birds!

  2. Sally: Oliver, if birds scare you, chase their shadows on the ground. That way, you don't have to look at the actual birds!

Tally: Don't listen to her, Oliver. My silly sister actually believed she could catch those shadows.

    Sally: Did not!

Tally: Did too! Anyway, my advice is to ignore everything to do with birds, Oliver. Pretend they're not there. And never let a goose tempt you to chase it deeper into the lake...
