New Hope for the New Year

PERIL FOR YOUR THOUGHTS
Kalli Ballas speaks about new possibilities

Hi all, it's me, Kalli Ballas.

I just love the new year. So full of possibilities and fresh starts, it truly  makes me think anything is possible. I mean, soon my brand new spring line of Kalli Originals will come out at Interludes. I still can't believe my lingerie will be displayed in such a prestigious store in NYC.

And then there's my family. I think they've finally accepted me moving in with Jaz, my best friend. I know they don't approve of her, but I am old enough to make my own decisions, and they are finally letting me.

And finally there's Detective Nik Stevens.

He is the first man I can actually kiss and not reach for the hand sanitizer. I feel like I just might have a new beginning with him, which is something I never thought was possible.  So tell me. What do you like most about the new year? Do you make resolutions? Do you reflect on days gone by? Do you start over? Inquiring minds want to know. Whatever you do, I wish you the very best and a very happy brand new year.

  1. I don't make New Year's resolutions but do look upon each new year as a new beginning. There are times I look back on previous years and wish I had made different decisions or done things differently, but there's nothing you can do to change the past. All of us hope that the new year will bring joy and good things and that is what I wish for every one.

  2. Hi Kari, it looks like you've given me another new book to look for. I can't wait to get hold of a copy to read.

  3. True, Dianne. I do try to set attainable goals for myself. Love the idea of do overs and starting fresh.
