There's a Chill in the Air

SHENANIGANS IN THE SHADOWS A Fortune Teller Mystery by Kari Lee Townsend
Granny Gert speaks

Oh my word, it's getting cold outside.

My name is Granny Gert. I'm Sunny's grandmother and I live with her now in the charming small town of Divinity in central New York.

We've had the darndest weather lately. One day it's hot enough to get a sunburn and the next day we had a frost. A frost, mind you! My poor flowers will never survive.

Speaking of things that might not survive...

Detective Mitch Stone and my darling Morty the cat. They are causing so much mischief lately, poor Sunny is at her wit's end. With her best friend Jo getting married and her parents impending arrival, life is stressful enough for the poor thing. If those naughty boys don't find those missing wedding rings soon, I just might have to pull out my wooden spoon, and I don't mean to make a batch of my famous cookies.

Stay tuned for what happens next in Perish in the Palm....

  2. Oh, I love the Fortune Teller mysteries, and yay to such a fabulous short story collection! As for fall plans, nothing too much outside of home maintenance and a weekend in the mountains of Vermont. Life has been too crazy for my liking this year, so I'm just hoping for some peaceful fall evenings, to be honest. Snuggling up with some tea and a good book sounds like heaven.
