January Blues

Shenanigans in the Shadows: A Fortune Teller Mystery Short Story by Kari Lee Townsend

It's that time of the year. I hate winter. It always makes me blue. I hate being cooped up in side.

Forgive me, my name is Sunshine Meadows. AKA Sunny for short. Now that you know my name, you can kind of figure out why I might not like winter. I NEED sunshine. It matches my sunny disposition ;)

The only good thing about this time of year is that I get caught up on a lot of reading. It's a great time of year to curl up by a fire and read a good book. And now that my boyfriend Detective Mitch Stone is living with me, it's even better. When he's not bickering with my finicky cat Morty, that is.

So tell me, what do YOU like to do on those cold, dreary, January Blues kind of day?

PS...stay tuned for some exciting news about the continuation of the Fortune Teller Mystery Series. It's found a brand new exciting home ;)

  2. Read, do some knitting or crafts or try to catch up on those odd jobs, such as cleaning cabinets, closets and cupboards.

  6. Haha I have missed Sunny, too. That's what happens when you have multiple projects going on at the same time, Mary Louise, but I am so excited Sunny's adventures will continue. Walking away from a deal is scary and never easy. That's what makes knowing Sunny will find a new home all the more exciting. Details to come soon, I promise.
