I was recently asked to consider a new reality show called Pet Interventions. It would involve myself and other pet professionals helping contestants with their problem pets.

I’m not quite sure what I think about the idea but I’m considering the possibilities.
On the negative side, I really love what I do and it would take time away from that work. The plus side is I’d get a chance to share some of the knowledge I’ve gained in my pet therapy practice with a lot more people. Depending on the viewership, millions of people. In the case of big shows like The Voice, American Idol, or Dancing with the Stars that's tens of millions of people.

I’m fixin’ to make a decision real soon, but while I’m thinking whether a reality show is good fit for me, I have a question for y’all.
Is there a favorite reality show you look forward to every week? And why do you think we're drawn to reality TV?

I like to try to figure out who the judges will choose on Master Chef. I'd be better at it if I got to taste the food... Well, maybe.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun show!
DeleteFor some reason, I dislike reality shows, but the pet intervention sounds fun. Good luck with the decision!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janet!
DeleteDownton Tabby? Utterly brilliant title!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Libby! We're having fun thinking of all the launch plans. Hmmm, maybe scones?
DeleteSince we "downsized" our DTV package, I'm now a real big Rehab Addict "junkie". Maybe because I was once a proffessional cook I really can't watch the cooking reality shows, and forget the "semi-scripted" shows like Amazing Race and Survivor. Before we changed our show "package", I used to watch Kendra, and an "occassional" Real Housewives on Bravo. Now, DIY and HGTV are on at home when I'm alone. And...I love the "Dachshund Tatoo" title
