Detective Mitch Stone Speaks
Stone here. You might know me as Detective Grumpy Pants. Sunny loves to call me that, even though I'm not that grumpy. I just get a little frustrated once in a while, but can you blame me? Tink--that's what I like to call her because she's a little bitty thing--is always getting herself into some kind of trouble. The crazy situations she finds herself in astound me. It's a wonder she's still alive.
Speaking of death....
We've had another murder in our small upstate New York town of Divinity. Sunny isn't too happy with me, but I can't help it that my job doesn't make me the most likable person. If her mother wasn't so stubborn and outspoken, she wouldn't be the prime suspect right now. I don't have a choice. I have to do my job or someone else will, and at least with me in charge of the case, we have a better chance of getting at the truth. That won't stop Sunny from sticking her nose in and doing everything she can to clear her mother's name.
Stay tuned, folks. You won't want to miss what happens. I just hope our relationship doesn't perish in the process!
