Some Pretty Nice Reviews
Robbie Jordan here. It's hard to get any cooking done around Pans 'N Pancakes anymore because my author, Maddie Day (aka Edith Maxwell) is jumping around talking about all the great reviews of her first book featuring, well, me! Flipped for Murder came out just last week, and boy howdy, do folks like it.
Here are a few choice bits:
Flipped For Murder has atmosphere and charm to spare, with great characters and an intriguing story. I’m already hungry for more. –Carstairs Considers
Delightful cozy series…strong characterization and a clever plot… –Bolo Books
Setting rich in atmosphere… characters come alive in this refreshing, enjoyable mystery. –Lesa’s Book Critques
You’ll flip for this mouth-watering new series... a tasty mystery with a side of scenic country charm... a delicious read. The rolling hills of southern Indiana never looked so inviting—or so dangerous. – Leslie Budewitz, two-time Agatha Award winning author of the Food Lovers’ Village Mysteries
What a terrific debut! This deliciously clever cozy–set in a deceptively charming little town–is fresh, intelligent and delightful. A winner! -Hank Phillippi Ryan Agatha, Anthony, Macavity and Mary Higgins Clark award winning author
I hope you get a chance to read the book. Because I got some pancakes and biscuits to serve and I don't have time for all this hooting around from the author!
Everyone in town shows up for the grand re-opening of Pans ‘n Pancakes, but when the mayor's disagreeable assistant is found dead, Robbie realizes that not all press is good press. With all eyes on her, she'll have to summon her puzzle-solving skills to clear her name, unscramble the town's darkest secrets, and track down a cold-blooded killer--before she's the next to die...
