Goodbye, Sweet Friend

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of our friend and fellow blogger, Renee Paley-Bain. She worked with her husband, Donald Bain, and blogged about the Murder, She Wrote series here at Killer Characters. Read Donald's memorial tribute to her here.

  2. I had the pleasure of meeting Renee at many conferences and was fortunate enough to have dinner with her once. She was a charming, delightful woman who will be greatly missed. I am sorry for her family's loss and for the mystery world's loss. Terrie Farley Moran

  6. Such sad news. I so enjoyed meeting Don and Renee at the Berkley cocktail party at Bouchercon in Long Beach. She was lively, and charming, and kind -- traits the world always needs more of. Thank you both for the inspiration, and the stories.
