My friend Amanda Lee is thrilled that her book, Wicked Stitch--telling all about my adventures at the Tallulah Falls Renaissance Faire--has been nominated for a 2015 RT Reviewers' Choice award! And I'm happy for her. I mean, I did all the work. I went to the RenFaire, had to set up shop between Nellie Davis and her sister, rescued that sweet little bunny Clover. Heck, I even figured out who killed Nellie's sister!
But that's neither here nor there. I passed my story along to Amanda, and she put it into words. I'm an entrepreneur and an embroiderer, not a writer.
Still, it's nice to know that the good people of RT Magazine enjoy our stories and that they particularly liked reading about our escapades at the Renaissance Faire. The residents of Tallulah Falls were all proud to hear it.
To celebrate, Amanda is giving one U.S. reader of this blog a signed paperback copy of Wicked Stitch. Since the cost of postage is so high, if you're an international reader, you'll win a digital copy of the book from your choice of either Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Books-A-Million. To be entered into the giveaway, please leave a comment below with your email address. On Friday, Amanda will put the number of commenters into a random number generator to choose a winner. Good luck!
And thank you all for visiting with us here in Tallulah Falls. We
love you guys!
