Danna Bickley, Here

By Danna Bickley, from Grilled for Murder by Maddie Day (aka Edith Maxwell)

Hey, there. I'm Danna, and I work with Robbie Jordan in her country store restaurant, Pans 'N Pancakes.

My mom, the mayor of South Lick, Indiana, thinks I'm on a "gap year" and that I'm going to college next year - but I'm just doing what I love. Flipping flapjacks, coming up with new recipes for Robbie, and sometimes even helping her solve crimes.

And when that lady turned up dead after the party Robbie catered in the store, whoo-ee, it messed things up. We had to close the restaurant for a day and everything. But Robbie's pretty smart and she's got a brain for puzzles. She's brave, too. She got trapped by the killer and figured out how to get away without getting hurt.

So stop by Pans 'N Pancakes next time you're in Brown County. We'll serve up mystery with a side of bacon!

  1. Wow! This should be fun. I love Brown County, Indiana. We have a French Lick I but I don't reckon I know of a South Lick, Indiana!

    1. Carol, South Lick is fictional. But I came up with the name when I drove past South Lick Creek Road near Beanblossom! Hope you like the books.
