Oh, Fudge and book giveaway

Well it is September and for Mackinac Island, that means the end of the summer season. I'm Allie McMurphy and my first season as Hotel and Fudge Shop owner is drawing to a close. My dog Mal and my new kitty Mella are enjoying the fact that I have more time for them.
I also have a bit more time for murder and it's a good thing. My cousin Victoria has shown up and she is hopping mad at me. I guess she thought she should inherit the McMurphy Hotel as well. I never gave it a thought as she lives in California and has her own business there.
The thing is, I find Tori kneeling over the body of a dead woman with her hands on the handle of the murder weapon. Is she innocent of the crime? I'm about to figure that out.
Meanwhile my love life is upside down. My boyfriend Trent has had little time for me and when he does see me he has been distant. Maybe it's time I learned to be single.
My author is giving away a copy of, Oh, Fudge. In the comment section below, please tell us if you take a fall vacation and, if you do, where is your favorite place to go?
Cheers, Allie

  6. I usually don't get to take vacations in the fall because those weekends sure fill up quick. Luckily, the leaves usually are very pretty where I live.

  8. Oh yeah we take fall vacations. The only time my wife can get away is late August early September. We just got back from a ten night stay on Cape Cod and Salem, Ma. We love the Cape and no matter how many times you go there's always something new to check out. We added Salem this year since I got comp passes for a number of venues.

I'd love to hit the lottery and buy a year round home on the Cape, as close to or in P-Town. I love this series and would "kill" to win this book.

  14. Since we live outside of Aspen, Colorado, we take weekly Fall staycations -- it is so beautiful and gorgeous up here and there are so many scenic drives to go on to enjoy the vibrant colors. After having lived in Texas most of my life, it is awesome to actually experience seasons up here, and Fall is definitely the best! Thanks so much for your giveaway! bobandcelia@sbcglobal.net

  15. It really depends on what is going on around us and with work. Any season is acceptable. But for fall? Often it is a staycation. But. With the colorful change of the seasons we love to visit the Grotto. And do some hiking. Love the cover. And the teaser. So hoping. Della at deepotter (at) peoplepc (dot) com

  17. I love Fall in the mountains. The blue ridge parkway is only 2 hours away. Renting a cabin there is the best way to experience Fall.
