I’ve decided I like Tally Holt living in my rental house. She’s polite, neat, and considerate. There’s a big bonus, too. She owns Tally’s Olde Tyme Sweets. I like Tally as a tenant, but I love knowing the owner of that vintage sweet shop! She actually makes a version of Twinkies® there. And they’re super good!
So, in order to make sure she keeps renting out my little house, I decided to do nice things for her. When she moved in I saw that she had two or three little decorative boxes. One looked like a music box and the others may have been jewelry boxes. It was hard to tell from the glimpse I got the short time I was in the house with the movers going back and forth and all the confusion.
Anyway, it’s very easy for me to help her build her collection since yard sales are my hobby. Walking from one to the other in nice weather on the weekends keeps me in shape, I must say. Today I found one I know she’ll love! It might be cardboard, not wood, but it’s sturdy cardboard. The back is only bashed in a tiny bit. I can’t wait to give it to her. She always thanks me so nicely. She might need another chest to display her collection. It’s grown so much since I started helping her.
