But sometimes, I get thrown back to fun memories, like the first time I attended the Oklahoma State Sugar Arts Show in Tulsa. My author friend Gayle Trent was there, too. As you can see from the photo on the left, we hit it off, and she wrote up some of my adventures...or misadventures.
This year Kerry Vincent and the wonderful cake artists who come from all over the world to attend the show will celebrate its 25th Anniversary. Check out the OSSAS page and make plans to attend if you can--you won't be disappointed.
Now tell me, what's your favorite flavor of cake?
Can't think of a cake I don't like. :) I'd have to say coconut for my Mom's fresh grated coconut cake or cinnamon for the Hungarian cake I always asked for on my birthday. I know that's two but it's as close to narrowing them down as I can get. Unless I can say cheese because I love all flavors of cheesecake. :)

I love all cake, however, I think lemon may be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tasted a cake that I didn't like, however, Red Velvet makes me drool just thinking about it!
ReplyDeleteI love anything chocolate - devil's food, German Chocolate, Black Forest - or carrot cake.
ReplyDeleteJust this week I had to grab a couple boxes of "limited edition" cake mix at the grocery. One was Banana Split and the other Mint Chocolate Chip.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much! I'm sorry I couldn't comment before now, but my computer was glitching. So, anyway, let's eat cake--it's SOMEBODY'S birthday! 😄
ReplyDeleteI love a devils food cake with chocolate buttercream cake. I love the book cover !
