I know it's somewhere close... I can almost feel it.
I'm looking for something important, something terribly valuable. I feel almost like I'm playing that old kid's game 20 Questions, or is it I Spy? I keep looking, but it always seems to be just out of reach.
Trouble is, I'm stuck in this hideous small town, Queensville, Michigan. I feel like everyone is watching me, from the middle-aged nosy biddy in the grocery store - how quaint, they call it an 'Emporium', and yes, I'm sneering - to the woman walking her dog in the park, to the people strolling the streets at all freaking hours of the day and night.
Does no one in this hicktown ever mind their own business? I feel like my mission is plastered all over my face, visible for the world to see. It's... disturbing.
Oh, well... only a little while now and I'll have my hands on it. Then I'll have to decide... what now? What do I do with it?
Have you ever done something, and felt like everyone was watching your every move?
