PERISH IN THE PALM

Sunny Meadows
Brrrr it's cold out! Don't you think so?
Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to mention I'm Sunny Meadows. And I'm cold. I mean just look at my name.
Sunny
I like the sun and I like when it's hot outside. Unfortunately I also like my hometown of Divinity. The problem is my town is located in upstate New York. It's only October yet we had 9 inches of snow fall yesterday.
That's crazy even for us.
I need to find a way to warm up. What do you all do when it's cold outside? I like to hunker down with a cup of coco or tea and read a good book.
On that note, I will give a copy of PERISH IN THE PALM to one commenter for keeping me company in my misery ;) Good luck!

Help, I need ideas. It's freezing in here.
ReplyDeleteI am wrapped in a blanket drinking hot tea. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice!
DeleteIn CA we are not freezing, I will send some heat your way.
ReplyDeletejslbrown2009 at aol dot com
Please do!
DeleteMy favorite thing is to wrap up in a blanket with some hot chocolate and a great book. poohwine1217@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteDo you want to build a snowman? Come on, Mitch, let's go out side and build a snowman! Sunny drags her underwhelmed significant other into the freezing cold inhaling the cold air that hurts the lungs. Anyway, before you know it, both Sunny and Mitch are assembling a slightly lope sided snowman. Funny, they are no longer cold, well, except for Mitch but that's only because Sunny could not resist putting snow down the back of his collar! I hate when that happens. At least laughing can keep them warm too.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I just might have to use that ;)
DeleteI like to curl up in my recliner with a fleece throw and a book.
ReplyDeletesgiden at verizon(.)net
Gotta love fleece throws! I could use one right about now.
DeleteI like to sit in front of our fireplace, drinking hot chocolate & reading a good book. Thanks for this special giveaway. Linda May.
ReplyDeleteI just love a fireplace. It's so cozy.
DeleteI love warmth and sunshine. I need it and crave it so I drink hot tea all day and put the heat way up and relax in my cozy love seat. saubleb(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteWhile making a snowman does sound like fun, I prefer warmth and sunshine as well ;)
DeleteMove South for the winter or get cozy with a flannel robe and a soothing hot cocoa. elliotbencan(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI do believe you're onto something with the flannel robe.
DeleteWhen it's cold inside and out, there's nothing like curling up with a warm blanket and a cup of hot cider or cocoa. And warm, fuzzy socks.
ReplyDeleteFuzzy socks. Now you're talking!
DeleteA comfy overstuffed chair. Crackling fire. Cat on lap. Hot choc nearby with a good read is the best way to beat the cold.
ReplyDeleteDella at deepotter@peoplepc.com Thanks for this opportunity to read one of your books.
I really love overstuffed chairs!
Delete-4C (24F) here. I feel your pain...
ReplyDeleteWow, now that's cold!
DeleteHot chocolate!!! Lots of hot chocolate! lkleback@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteYou must have peeked in my cupboards!
DeleteA good mug of tea, and a dog curled up by your side as you read! :) Chilly here too, can't ignore the fact winter is going to arrive eventually!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
JHolden955(at)gmail(dot)com
I am so not ready for winter if it's anything like last year.
DeleteI curl up under a blanket or a bunch if I'm in bed. A warm drink is good and some TV or a book to keep you occupied and it might make you forget that you're cold. Activities such as cleaning the litter box, doing dishes, or baking gets me warm.
ReplyDeletecatbooks72(at)gmail(dot)com
I sleep with tons of blankets! Love the warmth and weight of them ;)
DeleteIt was cold here and I put flannel sheets on. Makes it toastier.
ReplyDeletedebby236 at gmail dot com
I go out for a walk. No matter how cold it is out when you come back inside you are most definitely warmer.
ReplyDeletemarypres(AT)gmail(DOT)com
I'm not with you in your love of the heat. I love the cold weather! I go for a walk and then come in and snuggle under blankets with a good book! I hate to sweat! It makes it hard to hold a book. And hot drinks are so much better in the cold weather.
ReplyDeleteElaineE246 at msn dot com
Flannel sheets, thats the answer. I also cuddle up with a blanket, hot cocoa and a good mystery. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeletebabemomara@att.net
What do I do when it's cold outside? Buy a first-class ticket to Honolulu... All I need is sunscreen, T-shirt, shorts, flip flops, and the nearest lounge chair next to the bar! ALOHA!! kat8762@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI love a warm fuzzy blanket to keep me warm. Thanks for the interview. robeader53@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fun read. Thank you, Killer Characters, for introducing me to a new author!!
ReplyDeletepeggyhyndman(at)att(dot)net
I always build a fire in the fireplace, cuddle up with my doggys, and read a great book with hot cocoa! That's my perfect cold day! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
ReplyDeletemagicgirl2357(at)yahoo(dot)com
I can so relate however, since I'm in the phase of my life where I suffer from 'personal summers' definitely bring on the cold. Just make sure there is plenty of hot cocoa to go around. dcgirl919@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. Gibe me a snuggy, a good book, and a hot cuppa tea. When I was young, I used to go in the bathroom and sit on the air vent wrapped in a blanket. LOL
ReplyDeletelaurathomas61@att.net
I cuddle with my dogs, read a good book, and drink hot coffee with lots of Bailey's in it.
ReplyDeletesuefarrell.farrell@gmail.com
I can appreciate your problem. We just got back from Maine where the days were in the 40s and the nights went down into the 20s. I'm used to south Florida where the highs are in the 80s and lows in the 70s right now!
ReplyDeletelibbydodd at comcast dot net
Don't like the cold. Course, I don't like it real hot either. Today's high is supposed to be about 72. About right. However, I always enjoy a good read. How about some orange spiced tea. I'll put the kettle on.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have much cold weather in So Cal. In those few weeks that we do, I snuggle with my dog under a nice warm throw and watch a movie. lkish77123 at gmail dot com
