Hi, and thanks for hanging out with me!
My name’s Bandit and I’m a Jack Russell
Terror—oops, I mean, Terrier!
I’m hanging
out here this weekend with my humans at Elysian Springs Retreat Center on
Orcas Island, Washington.
My hobbies are
barking, chasing rabbits, and stealing treats from other dogs.
Oh—and jumping.
Don’t forget jumping.
I jump so high I can see out through the top
window of the front door of my cabin. I’m the Jack Russell equivalent of a
doggie pogo stick.
I’m really enjoying my time here on Elysian Springs. My human doesn’t watch me very closely, so I
have over ninety acres to run off leash, chase deer and cause trouble to my heart’s content.
The only human buzz kill on my vacation is this grumpy yoga
teacher, Kate Davidson. She’s afraid
that her German shepherd, Bella, won’t appreciate my chasing her and stealing
her treats. Kate wants me to be imprisoned—if
you can believe it—on a leash! How
awful!
I’m not scared of Bella.
After all, I can run a lot faster than she can. Kate and my human slave Monica have been
arguing about me a lot, though, and it has me worried. Kate doesn’t know it,
but someone at the retreat center has noticed.
You don’t think that they'll frame Kate for murder, do you?
I’d like to chat more, but the chickens have come out
of their roost. Time for me to make some
feathers go flying!
Great news! My
first adventure (though it’s Tracy’s second book in the Downward Dog Mysteries
Series) is on sale!
Until April 23rd, it's only $1.99
on Kindle, Nook (coming soon!) and Kobo. A KILLER
RETREAT is a killer read! Check it out!
But don’t leave your e-reader where I can
find it. I might use it to
sharpen my teeth…

What a super place for dogs. We're on our way. Woof!
