by Quincy
from the
FAT CAT series by Janet Cantrell
GIVEAWAY
BELOW
Christmas at the apartment I let Chase live in with me is
one of my favorite days of the year. Lots of people come over, Anna Larson,
Julie Larson, Mike Ramos, maybe even Jay Wright. They all like to pet me and I
usually let them.
But the best time is when they start ripping paper and
throwing ribbons on the floor. What fun! I’m pretty sure they do that just for
me. What I can’t understand is why they don’t do it more often. Once a year is
hardly enough.
Is Quincy right? Should we have Christmas more than once a
year? As wonderful as it is, I think it would be too exhausting. This is me,
Janet, the author. I’m giving away signed copies of all three Fat Cat books (unless
you already have some or all of them), and a kitten calendar for 2017. You need
a calendar, right? Please leave a comment telling me which book(s) you want,
and I’ll pick a winner at the end of Tuesday, the 6th.
The fact that Christmas comes once a year is, in part, what makes it so special. Having it more than once a year would make it less so. Our pocketbooks would not stand the strain of Christmas multiple times a year, not to mention our waistlines. If I would be the lucky winner, I'd be delighted to have all three of your Fat Cat Books. If I can only pick one, it would be Fat Cat Takes the Cake! dbahn(at)iw(dot)net
ReplyDeleteWe should appreciate others and give joy every minute of every day. So yes more than once a year. I need all three books, but I'd start with the first. Katieh(at)mvdsl(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI only want Christmas once a year. It would be too much if more and it would not be as special. I do have Fat Cat Spreads out. I would love one of the others. thanks
ReplyDeletedebby236 at gmail dot com
I would love a calendar! I would pick all three books. Zeta(at)iwon(dot)com
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity. I would all three of you books or just the first in the series. Yes, I can use a calendar.
ReplyDeletemommomsworld(at)yahoo(dot)com
Thanks for the chance to win some books. I haven't read any of the books in this series yet so I'd love to win all three.

ReplyDeleteThanks for this lovely feature and giveaway. The calendar and books would be entertaining. elliotbencan(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI love this cat, but I can't believe I don't have any of the books. That and a calendar would be terrific. Thanks for the giveaway.

ReplyDeletenschwenkner (at) gmail (dot) com
Fat Cat Takes The Cake but any of your books would be a welcome read. Once a year seems sufficient but paper and ribbons at various times of year keep cats happy. laughlincat(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, people equate Christmas with gifts! I like to give all year! You know, not just gifts but time. I couldn't afford another traditional Christmas more than once a year, but love the spirit of the season! Wish we could do that all year! I just started your series last month and was sad to hear they may not continue it πi would love the next two! Than you, and Happy Holidays everyone!! ππ±ππ±
ReplyDeleteI have none of them, so would be very happy to receive any of them. Thank you so much. I'll read them to my cats!! Sharon, catwoman-1(at)comcast(dot)net
ReplyDeleteI would love to read any (or all)! I have my own fat cat:). I rescued her from the bush she was living in and now she is loving the Christmas tree. She is fat and happy! colleenbyrne6@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy kitties are both elderly and don't get nearly as excited about ribbons and paper as they used to.
ReplyDeleteChristmas is a little bittersweet for me because it's just my hubby and I---and of course, the fur kids, to celebrate while others are talking about all their family getting together. But I still enjoy doing some critter safe decorating. I'd love to win any or all of your books----it seems like I've been entering contests for a long time to try to win with not luck so far. Thanks for the contest.

I would love to have all of them. kkat.edwards(at)gmail.com

ReplyDeleteMeow! i'd Love to win the 2nd and/or 3rd ones! cats always manage to find other days to rip paper and chase ribbons! woofmew@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the 3rd book.
ReplyDeleteAlways need a calendar.
I don't think I'd want to do Christmas
more than once a year - to much to do
to get ready for it. We have other
holidays and birthdays that can fill
in for Christmas.
thanks for the offer of the prize.
Mary Lou at txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com
We don't need Christmas for an excuse to throw paper and ribbons!
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy with any of the books.

Any of the books would be good with me. Christmas once a year is more than enough for me. pgenest57 at aol dot come
ReplyDeleteChristmas is a lot of fun, but yes it would be too exhausting to do more than once per year. You're a new to me author, so I would like all three, please. Thanks for the chance. turtle6422(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteAny of the books would be fine with me, I thought I had the first but I can't find it if I do. Thank you so much for the chance to win.

I would love to win any one of your books, and I love cats! I can only handle Christmas once a year. :) Thank you for this chance! areewekidding@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI don't have any of your books. They are a little out of my price range. I only have Social Security to live on. I love cats. I have two barn cats and a rescue dog.
ReplyDeletecjreynolds52(at)comcast(dot)net
Having more than one Christmas a year would be too stressful! (And expensive!)
ReplyDeleteI love cats and would love to win one of your books and a calendar!!
Oops! lindaherold999@gmail.com
DeleteI don't have any of the books yet, so all three would be super! Thanks so much for your generous giveaway, love the kitten calendar! lclee59(at)centurylink(dot)net
ReplyDeleteRight now we are taking care of several cats that are rural runners but they love when i come out and give them hot meals every day they are so cute they try to be mean but they are really nice. There also are babies there and 1 mama is pregnant just love cats and kittens I would love to read Fat Cat at Large and the calender would be so wonderful. Thank you for this chance and will review as i have done with the others. ptclayton2@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI do love Christmas, but it can get tiring and hectic with decorating and prep. We try to shop throughout the year and we really don't go to parties, but it can still be a bit crazy even just going to the store for something normal but dealing with the other people who are shopping for that last minute or just right gift. The spirit of Christmas should be all year, though. Tolerance, good will towards all, peace. As for the books, I would take random whatever you chose to send.

Once a year is plenty! Donamaekutska7@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteIf the focus was on CHRISTmas maybe more than once a year. Any of the books would be great. And the cat calendar would be fun too.

ReplyDeleteI think once a year is enough for Christmas, that way it's something special to look forward to each year. I would enjoy any of the books. Merry Christmas and thanks for the chance.

I would be delighted to read the first 3 books in the series. I have not read any yet. Finances makes it slow going though they are on my TBR and a kitty calendar would be absolutely awesome!. Gift giving and the extra rich meals and sweets we have during the holidays would not want everyday. But the people being extra nice would be great year round. My cats understand exactly how Quincy feels and agree. So when we get junk mail I throw some on the floor, I have a male that loves to pounce on, then claw the paper and if it letters or flyers I open them up, then crumble them up, and then throw them. The cats love chasing them and batting them around. Della at deepotter (at) peoplepc ((dot) com
ReplyDeleteChristmas once a year is fine with me! I think an unnamed relative walked off with a couple of your books before I had a chance to read them so I would be delighted to win any of the books! And the calendar - so cute.
ReplyDeletekpbarnett1941[at]aol.com
I agree once is good and hard enough though the thought is nice
ReplyDeleteThey all look good and you are a new to me Author so I don't have any yet so they would be just fine Thanks for the chance to win iamabho (@) gmail (.) com
To me, Christmas should be nnce a year due to the reason we celebrate it. Too much of a good thing can reduce or ruin the enjoyment of something as well. I had Fat Car At Large but someone borrowed it before I read it so it would be wonderful to have all three books since I never got my book back. I would share the books AFTER reading them this time!!!Thanks for the chance Cynthia. ceblain AT tmlponline DOT net

ReplyDeleteChristmas once a year is enough for me! I have read the first two Fat Cat books, so book #3 would be my choice, and the 2017 calendar is a nice addition. grace dot koshida at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteChristmas once a year is enough otherwise it wouldn't be so special anymore. Christmas seems to me should only be held in the winter months.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any of the books, so any would be fine. I start buying Christmas ornaments in July, so I feel like it celebrate it multiple times a year. centraleast2 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteChristmas is more special since it is only once a year. It wold be nice if people would act like it is Christmas more often...
ReplyDeleteElaineE246 at msn dot com
I will have 2 kittens this year in addition to my 3 other cats. It should be interesting. I like Christmas once a year, but I think there should be other occasions to throw papers and ribbons on the floor! I'd love the most recent book in the series, should I be lucky enough to win.
ReplyDeleteCozyupwithkathy @ gmail dot com
Thanks for the giveaway, I would love any of the books. I actually want to read all of them. Georgia
ReplyDeletequeenvictoria50 (at) aol (dot) com
Christmas once year is enough. I have all 3 books so only would want to perhaps win the calendar! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

I do love Christmas. Happy to celebrate once a year. Something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteI'd love copies of FAT CAT AT LARGE or FAT CAT SPREADS OUT thanks.
marypres(AT)gmail(DOT)com
Once a year is amazing...and that's the best kind of Christmas although if we could keep the good cheer all year round that would be amazing too. Thank you for the chance to enter for the Books..
ReplyDeleteMarilyn ewatvess@yahoo.com
Xmas once a year seems stressful enough! I love Quincy and crew. Would love the most recent release .
ReplyDeleteHello Janet, this is such a nice giveaway, I have read he first first Fat Cat and Quincy had me laughing till tears came out of my eyes. I would not mind winning all three books, hope that does not sound too selfish. I would give the first to my sister who loves felines!
ReplyDeleteThanks and enjoy all things Christmas, to Maureen
If we had Christmas more than once a year it wouldn't be as special as it is. I would love to win all three books. If I could only win one than I would love any one of the books. Thanks for the giveaway. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeletebah195@yahoo.com
I love Christmas but 1x a year is enough. You are a new to me author. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeletekckendler at gmail dot com
DeleteJesus was only born once a year so that is why Christmas is only once a year. Although we have made it so commercial, the religious factor needs to be recognized. I would love any of the Fat Cat mystery series books. Thanks for the giveaway and for including Janet Cantrell on your blog. robeader53(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteChristmas would not be so special - too many papers to shred - too many ribbons to chase - if we did it more than once a year.
ReplyDeleteYou are a new author to me, so the first in the fat cat series would be great. I love kitty calanders. Thanks for this opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI am a crazy cat lady...I currently have one sleeping on my lap :-) parkeremma2003 at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteI think once a year is enough for Christmas. Other wise I'd be broke more often...lol...However with it being only once a year to me it's more special because family that lives far away are able to come home and not worry about losing several days of work, and we can enjoy each other knowing we all have to go back to our crazy lives. I would love any of these books. Thanks for the give away jillybeans41@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteOnly 1X a year is enough for me.
ReplyDeleteAny of the books would be appreciated π
lorih824(at)yahoo(dot)com
I have not read any of this series so I would love any one of them.
ReplyDeleteThereadmaster@me.com
I think I could enjoy some of the wonderful things about Christmas more than one time a year. In actuality I think I do as well as a lot of my family. We celebrate each other daily. And of course some other of the beautiful things that Christmas brings. I would love to win all of your books. I am pretty sure I have read one of them, but since I cant remember which it would be best to get all of them and read them one after another, lol. Thanks for the contest! kayt18 (at) comcast (dot) net
ReplyDeleteI would love to win Fat Cat Takes the Cake. I have read & loved the first 2. Thanks for the giveaway & Happy Holidays! doward1952(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI'd take all three, but if I could only have one, I'd choose the second one. Love the series. Quincy Wincy's cute.
ReplyDeleteYou can have Christmas in July - sometimes there are Christmas movies on T.V. and you could listen to Christmas music if you wanted to.
catbooks72(at)gmail(dot)com
