Cora Crafts Mysteries
By Mollie Cox Bryan
Jane and I stole away for a few days to Nashville and we had a blast. Along with all the fabulous Country Music venues, we found some great craft shops—one was a bead shop, which is timely because our next retreat is focusing on beads. To say that we spent hours in this shop during one rainy day would not be over stating it. It was so hard to make up our minds!
Also, it really stoked our imagination for the retreat. We have a famous bead designer coming and so many fun ideas and lovely projects for our retreaters. Beading is an ancient art form. Old beads are found in tombs, sometimes they are made from seeds, sometimes from teeth, but they are still decorated beads. The human impulse to be creative is deep.
Hope you enjoy some of these photos I took at the bead shop! Until next time, stay crafty!
