A Sea Cruise and a #Bookgiveaway

Character:      Savannah Webb
Title:              Shattered at Sea
Series:           Webb’s Glass Shop Mysteries
Author:          Cheryl Hollon

Hi, Savannah here. I've got a secret! I haven't told anyone about the e-mail I received from the nice folks at Corning Museum of Glass. I've been invited to replace an ailing glass blower who works on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean.

I've checked the teaching schedule for Webb's Glass Shop and as luck would have it -- only a stained glass beginner class is on the docket. My crack office manager, Amanda Blake, can handle that class with one hand tied behind her back

My other concern would be for our relatively new Webb's Studio. This converted warehouse has attracted some skilled intermediate and expert glass artists who need work space along with the type of camaraderie that inspires you to strive to achieve your best work. Jacob is more than capable of handling the custom work but I'm going to ask one of my senior students to watch out for the existing clientele and give out information for prospective clients.

It seems like the stars are aligned -- now to ask Edward if he wants to be my plus one for the adventure. I think he'll say yes.

What do you think?

About Shattered at Sea

A Mediterranean cruise gives glass shop owner Savannah Webb a chance to demonstrate her expertise--and fire up her skills when it comes to foul play.

When Savannah signs on to perform glass blowing on a cruise ship, part of the appeal is that she'll get to meet her boyfriend Edward's family in England. As an added bonus, Edward's cousin, Ian, will be joining them on board. But when Ian disappears at the beginning of the cruise, the ship's authorities initially consider it suicide.

Savannah tries to balance her growing suspicions with work on her shows, but her relationship with the other glass artists begins to crack. And she can't let love color her judgment when Edward suddenly jumps to the top of the suspect list. His fate is in Savannah's hands, and she'll do everything she can -- on land and sea -- to clear his name.
