A New Year, Ho Hum #bookgiveaway

by Quincy
FAT CAT series by Janet Cantrell
(new series coming 2020 from Kaye George and Nigel, the Maine Coon)

GIVEAWAY BELOW

All the holiday decorations are gone, making it quite dull around here. No tree ornaments to bat to the ground, no tree to climb, in fact, no tree. I DO like clawing trees and this is the only time of year she ever brings one into the house. It’s puzzling.

After all the decorations went away, she sat down and dithered and muttered for hours about something she called “resolutions.” She balled up paper after paper and threw them toward the wastebasket. Some went in. Some became toys for me to store under the couch.

If I were human, I sure wouldn’t do resolutions at the first of the year. I’d wait to see how the year was shaping up, then decide what to do about it. Maybe she should concentrate on creating new recipes, or maybe on advertising, or maybe even redecorating The Bar None shop.

I have to admit, it’s easy for me. My resolutions would always be the same. Sleep a lot, eat a lot, make sure the shelves are cleared off, and demand to be petted several times a day, sneak out on adventures whenever I can.

If you haven’t ever read about me and my human, I think you should resolve to do that. In fact, my author has just told me she’s going to make it easy for you.  Just in case you don’t have any resolutions yet, here’s how to fix that. Resolve to read all three FAT CAT books.

This is Kaye George aka Janet Cantrell. I’m giving away the complete series: FAT CAT AT LARGE, FAT CAT SREADS OUT, and FAT CAT TAKES THE CAKE, plus a packet of post-its. Please leave a comment and be sure to include your email address, and I’ll pick a winner at the end of Friday, the 8th.

AS I’VE STATED BEFORE, I’M SO THANKFUL FOR THE SUPPORT MY READERS HAVE GIVEN THIS SERIES!  I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO GIVING YOU A NEW ONE IN 2020.

  8. I agree with Fat Cat, just resolve to do what you're already good at doing LOL! I make goals like this year I want to make better use of my Kindle Unlimited or I probably should discontinue it--that's a large order, so monthly I'm making sure I read what's on KU along with my other reads. Would love to enter the giveaway, thanks! Tari H, barbie17(at)gmail(d0t)com

  14. I haven't read the Fat Cat books before. This would be a chance to change that.
I'm really not an animal person -- at least now in the real world, but I do like having animals in my reading. I can enjoy the cats and dogs without the responsibility of actually feeding and cleaning up after them. One of my first series of books I read and enjoyed immensely was Lilian Jackson Braun's The Cat Who ... Ever since, I have enjoyed cat stories.
