BIG NEWS from Cait Morgan and a FLASH SALE (via Cathy Ace!)

The Cours Salaya in Nice, where Cait Morgan's enjoying a quiet glass of wine when...
Hello there – if you haven’t met me, allow me to introduce myself. The name’s Cait Morgan and I’m a professor of criminal psychology at the University of Vancouver. I migrated to Canada from the UK about a decade ago, for reasons I might divulge when I get to know you better (yes, there was a corpse involved!), though I was born and raised in Wales. I tell people who ask (and occasionally some who don’t) that I’ll always be Welsh, and I'll always be "becoming Canadian". I'm just about to head off to the south of France, to present a paper to a group of fellow criminal psychologists. But, when that's over, I plan to enjoy a bit of time relaxing in the sun. Maybe you'd like to join me? Just think of it...sitting in a plaza that's drenched in the light that inspired Matisse, Picasso, and so many other artists, surrounded by grand architecture from the Belle Epoch, sipping a glass of refreshing champagne, a platter of local meats, fruits and vegetables at your fingertips...oh, and some fresh, crusty bread too! Come on, join me....won't you?

Author Cathy Ace is proud to announce she has just reacquired the rights to the digital versions of all eight of the Cait Morgan Mysteries. They are now available on amazon, Kobo and Nook (links below via the author's website) at prices much lower than previously available. The Corpse with the Platinum Hair (The Cait Morgan Mysteries #4) won the Bony Blithe Award for Best Canadian Light Mystery in 2015, and The Corpse with the Garnet Face (The Cait Morgan Mysteries #7) was shortlisted for the same award in 2017. Each is set in a different country, and this series is the perfect choice for those who enjoy armchair traveling...with a traditional whodunnit to solve!

The first in the series, THE CORPSE WITH THE SILVER TONGUE, is temporarily available at a flash-sale price of $2.99 USD (or your local currency equivalent) on amazon, Kobo and Nook digital platforms. If you haven't "met" Cait Morgan yet, this might be the best time to do's a handy-dandy link to allow you to access, sample and buy the book, should you feel so inclined. Thank you! “Cathy Ace has a unique writing style that captures you from page one and doesn’t let go. When you sit down to start reading any of the stories in this series you are going to be there until you reach the end. I recommend all the books in this series. They each can be read on their own but as soon as you read one, you are going to want to read the rest.”Escape with Dollycas

“Cathy Ace’s series is perfect for those that love travel, food, and/or murder (reading it, not committing it).” BOLO Books

The Corpse with the Silver Tongue:

“In the finest tradition of Agatha Christie, debut author Ace brings us the closed-room drama, with a dollop of romantic suspense and historical intrigue.” Library Journal

The Corpse with the Golden Nose:

“If you’re a lover of classic mystery, this second Cait Morgan novel is for you. Ace takes her foodie/criminologist into B.C. wine country for a murder with touches of Christie or Marsh but with a bouquet of Kinsey Millhone.” Globe and Mail

The Corpse with the Emerald Thumb:

“Cathy Ace brings us a classic story in the tradition of Agatha Christie. This isn’t a typical cozy mystery. It’s more than that, it’s a well crafted whodunit with a dramatic flair. With a long list of suspects, it keeps readers guessing until the end. Ace has mastered writing the traditional murder mystery to perfection and has created a new beloved amateur sleuth. I am looking forward to the next entry in this series.” Yvonne, Socrates’ Book Reviews

The Corpse with the Platinum Hair:

“The Corpse with the Platinum Hair offers a sympathetic amateur detective, a locked-room mystery, a small cast of colourful suspects, loving descriptions of food and drink, and a few red herrings thrown our way. Yet Ace reinvigorates this formula with a nod to a fresh literary or filmic artifice in each novel in the series. The first was a crime caper in the To Catch a Thief tradition, the second a family saga, the third a spy thriller, and this fourth one is most certainly a nod to noir and the Rat Pack.”

The Corpse with the Sapphire Eyes:

“I won this book on Goodreads, have not read any of Cathy Ace's other books. I really enjoyed the story and setting, a lot of mystery to get your mind working trying to figure it out. Loved the Characters. Thank you very much for this book. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy a good mystery. 5 stars.” Catherine Milmine, Goodreads

The Corpse with the Diamond Hand:

“…impeccably researched, tightly plotted, and fast paced. It started with a bang and pulled me through one twist after another, but it wasn’t all action; it was also rich with detail.  I really enjoyed seeing Hawaii through the eyes of an author who’s obviously spent time there observing.” Island Confidential

The Corpse with the Garnet Face:

“Unique and original, this engaging treasure hunt through the art world —and one family’s secrets– sets an endearing, smart, and contemporary couple on a compelling quest.  Intelligent, touching, and more than a mystery, this page-turner is a revealing insight into love and loyalty.” Hank Phillippi Ryan, Agatha, Anthony and Mary Higgins Clark Award winning author

The Corpse with the Ruby Lips:

“This is a terrific light mystery with a wonderful setting and Ace is, well, an ace when it comes to plot and description.” The Globe and Mail
