Hello again - Cait Morgan here. Thanks for dropping by - I know it's a busy time of year for folks! You'd think I'd have enough on my hands with end of year grading for all the criminal psychology courses I teach at the University of Vancouver, but it seemed like a good idea to squeeze my wedding in between semesters by holding it in a fantastic clifftop castle in Wales between Christmas and the New Year.
Imagine it...the decorations still on display, the weather crisp and bright, everyone in a good mood after the annual festivities, the bride (that would be me!) wafting down a sumptuous staircase looking glamorous, and ready to commit herself to a lifetime with a man she loves with all her heart.
My "baby" sister flew in from Perth, Western Australia; my betrothed - Bud Anderson - and I flew in from Vancouver, Canada; the castle was one I had known since I was a child, and a place I had hardly dared hope would one day be the place where I would marry the man who - although we didn't even meet until I was in my late-forties - was the one I was meant to be with.
And I'm sure it would have all been wonderful - if only the weather hadn't closed in and cut the castle off from the mainland...or if there hadn't been a corpse on the stairs...or if the family who owned the castle weren't among the most creepy, bizarre people on the planet. But I won't moan about it, I'll just tell you the whole story and let you see how it all worked out.
