A heartwarming collection of holiday mysteries full of merriment . . . and murder!

Wreath Between the Lines by Daryl Wood Gerber

The Agatha Award–winning author of Sifting the Clues returns to the Cookbook Nook, where Jenna Hart is busy decking the halls and ducking a killer . . .

The holidays are Jenna Hart’s favorite time of year, but just as she’s decorating the Cookbook Nook for all the festive events, her imperious older sister makes a surprise visit, anxious that her husband’s been more naughty than nice. To make matters worse, her father’s good friend Jake shows up on her doorstep with a frantic report that his friend has been murdered—trussed with Christmas lights and impaled with a tree star . . .

Breaking the Mould by Victoria Hamilton

In this Christmas-themed Vintage Kitchen Mystery from the author of Cast Iron Alibi, when the town’s resident Scrooge is found dead, Jaymie says Bah humbug! to murder . . .

Now that Thanksgiving’s behind her, vintage cookware enthusiast Jaymie Leighton Müller is excitedly making plans for the upcoming Dickens Days festival—the town’s month-long celebration leading up to Christmas. With a hot cider booth on the village green to warm the hearts and bodies of the townsfolk and a diorama featuring a scene from A Christmas Carol, things are shaping up for a festive season—until the town’s local Scrooge is found murdered, a vintage pudding mould covering his cracked skull . . .

The Twelve Dice of Christmas by Gail Oust

Welcome to Serenity Cove, a peaceful Southern community where the residents like to play dice, play golf and, when foul play moves in, play detective . . .

With Christmas fast approaching, Kate McCall and her dice-playing friends get into the holiday spirit by agreeing to help the elderly Eula Mae Snow decorate her home, even when it means sorting through a veritable blizzard of the older woman’s knickknacks. Intent on doing a good deed and digging up a bright collection of seasonal decorations, Kate is stopped dead in her tracks when instead she discovers the skeleton of a man showing clear signs of foul play . . .

Includes scrumptious holiday recipes!

  1. I love the music and the food and the planning and decorating and some of the shopping ;-) but what really starts to get me in the series is watching the Hallmark and Lifetime (and now Netflix) movies and reading books about the holidays.

  8. Truthfully its seeing the joy on my daughter's face in anticipation of Christmas. Christmas is a time of grief for me so I put on a brave face for my daughter and get through it as best as I can. But on the really bad days,I see the joy on her face and its like a warmth settles over my heart and the grief, though not completely gone,is lessened.

  30. I love finding the perfect gifts for our two god-daughters. We got the youngest (3 years old) a book advent calendar as part of her gift this year. She Loves books, and it makes me so very happy. :) I also enjoy driving around and looking at all the light displays and then getting home, turning on our tree, making some minty hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows and snuggling up to my husband while we watch a Hallmark movie.

  41. Although I love the Christmas books, the holiday movies, the delicious food associated with the months of November and December, gathering of family and friends, the decorating and party activities, I have to say my favorite thing about the holidays has to be the reminder of the reason for the season and the perfect love for each and every one of us. With this there is no joy in any of the rest. So I will keep his love in my heart and spread the joy of the season whenever and where ever I can.

Hope your season is full of peace, joy and happiness!
