When Past Meets Present

Hi y'all! Have you ever noticed how your past sometimes swings up and reappears? People you never thought you'd see again resurface when you least expect it.

Well, I never dreamed I would run into my fiance again. But my brother, who happens to be a big time Hollywood producer, called me up and asked me to chaperone a bunch of young folks making a TV show about America's favorite dog. Doesn't sound too difficult, does it? I was to go to Wagtail and make sure they behaved. He didn't want any bad publicity associated with them or the show. You have to be so careful these days! But it wasn't just a free vacation.
The trouble maker in the group is my ex-fiance. My brother knew I was about the only person in the world who had the moxie to keep him in line. Frankly, it's a good thing the wedding was called off at the last minute. I mean that quite literally. I was in my dress and ready to go! But when I look back, I realize he would have made my life utterly miserable. What was a terrible trauma at the time saved me from a lot of heartache.
So I'm off to Wagtail for a paid vacation. All I have to do is keep an eye on everyone. That ought to be easy! Right?

  14. Happy New Year!

Sounds like the paid vacation to Wagtail may end up being more than doggie kisses and tail wags. Can't wait for the opportunity to read "THE DOG WHO KNEW TOO MUCH". I've shared everywhere, but hoping to be the very fortunate one selected. Thanks for the chance! <3
