What are you reading this winter?

Winter in the Thousand Islands is as beautiful as it is remote, or so it seems at times. When the wind howls and the snow swirls, it's magical and a call to curl up inside with a hot chocolate and good book. Add a cat and life is good.

I've agreed to come up with a title for the book club that Bayside Books sponsors. It's called Book Club Babes Plus One and that's because the five female members have allowed one male to join in. It's really a fun group to spend an evening with as it
encompasses everything from book talk to eating to gossip.

So, this is Mystery Month for the BCB+1 and I'd like a little help, please.

What would you suggest as the right read for this book club? What book has excited you recently? What series are you now hooked on? Which new-to-you author has won you over?

TROUBLE ON THE BOOKS is now available in trade paperback!

Be sure to watch for DEATH ON THE PAGE, book 2 in the Castle Bookshop Mysteries, coming March, 2020. Or pre-order at:
