Hi, Maggie and Mia here!

We decided to join forces and wish all who celebrate a happy Saint Patrick's Day!

My family is of French and Acadian extraction. (That's me, Maggie).

And mine is a bazillion percent Italian. (Hi from Mia!)

But we both know how important family is, as well as family heritage. We love the Irish culture... and have both dated Irishmen in our past! (As has our author, whose husband is half-Irish).

So...

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Sláinte!

Mia and Maggie

Readers, what do you like to do for Saint Patrick's Day? Anything special?

  1. From since I was a small child, St. Patrick's Day meant wearing green. I still do. I can remember as I got older that you tried to wear green where it wasn't immediately visible because if someone pinched you for not wearing green and you were you got to double dose them. Mom use to make sure the cupcakes or cookies were green as did I for my daughter. Now with just hubby and I, we don't do much. Love cabbage but don't necessarily have it ON St. Patrick's Day. Not fond of corned beef at all.

May you have the luck of the Irish all year through!
