Goodbye, Sheila Connolly

Our dear friend and colleague, Sheila Connolly, passed away on April 20, 2020, in her beloved cottage in Ireland. She was a steady, smiling friend, a prolific writer, and a long-time contributor to Killer Characters and other blogs.

We thank her for the gift of her friendship and her stories. Please treasure her memory with us, and enjoy reading and rereading her books.

  1. I was very sad when I heard about this. I’ve read her new Victorian Village series which makes me want to read the Museum. I started the Apple Orchard series this year and love it as well. Prayers and condolences going out to all her family and friends/acquaintances. I wish I had had the chance to know her too.

  3. am so sad about this but am glad that she was able to spend her last days in Ireland which she loved so much. Will treasure her books forever.

  4. I was so shocked to hear of her passing. I am glad to read that she was in Ireland and in her beloved cottage. Such a sad loss of what I am sure was a truly amazing person and I know was a wonderful author.
