See you in the Thousand Islands!

If you're feeling restless these days, just like me, and yearn to do some exploring, I'd like to suggest taking a virtual tour of the Thousand Islands region. It's a magical area and there are several tours listed on the internet. Here's one I tried out before moving to Alexandria Bay. It's of the beautiful Boldt Castle on Heart Island and if you've never visited, this is the next best thing.

Here's the link:  https://boldtcastle.wordpress.com

I really wish we had one of Blye Castle where the seasonal location of our bookstore, Bayside Books is located. It's on Blye Island, and unfortunately, you won't even find it on the map. But I hope you'll visit us with the Castle Bookshop Mysteries, and I'll try to give you a lot of description so you'll feel like you're right there.

Let me know how you enjoyed the Boldt Castle tour! Hope you enjoy.

  1. Three years ago on our trip through the New England states in the fall, we went to Boldt Castle. It was a gorgeous day and we thoroughly enjoyed the island. What an amazing place!

Can't wait for the opportunity to read "DEATH ON THE PAGE".

  2. When I lived in Montreal we travelled to The Thousand islands each summer since we had relatives in Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, Smiths Falls, Kingston and when I was young we went on a boat ride thought The Thousand Islands. I still remember the wonderful experience and enjoyment.
