Cozy fun #giveaway

From Angie Turner of Deep Fried Revenge by Lynn Cahoon

Hey guys, I'm totally in the weeds this week. I've been working on a new menu and then Mrs. Potter fell at the house so I had to rush her to the hospital. One bad thing about living in the country is the hospital isn't just around the corner so I had to take her to Meridian which was closest town with a hospital.

Of course, she wouldn't let me call an ambulance. In fact, she even directed me on how to get to the hospital, chastising me that I was going the long way around.  It's cool though. I knew if she felt good enough to criticize my driving, she wasn't hurt too  bad.

And I was right, it was a strain, but since Erica was out of town seeing her folks, I had to bring her over to my house until she could get back.

Dom loved having someone else in the house to give him attention.

Anyway, things are back to normal now. But I feel like I need a vacation. :)

Or maybe just some quality reading time. I hear Lynn has a giveaway so read past my update to find our more.

  27. Interesting cover. Intriguing synopsis. We love going to state fairs. One year, 1969, Mom & I were chatting as we walked the aisle in the barn. She was complaining about how bad the slugs were that yr. Up popped a 4H'er, about 12, who suggested renting geese & ducks from local farmers. Mom did. Slugs and insects disappeared in a jiffy. She rented them twice a year after that. Also rented goats to clear the backyard of weeds and thistles and blackberry brambles. (backyard was half acre) deepotter at centurylink dot net
